My Ipsy July Glam Bag included the following:
This coral-peach lipstick, from Teeez, is highly-pigmented, glides on smoothly and gives a beautiful matte finish. The creamy texture leaves the lips hydrated. Contains coconut oil extract and smells pretty nice. Pretty Shade, isn’t it?
Full Review very soon.
OFRA Eyeshadow & Highlighter (Bliss) – 4gm ($15)
A shimmery eye shadow which also dual as a highlighting powder. Bliss is a beautiful color from Ofra’s “Diamonds are Forever” Palette. It came in a pan, so you need a makeup palette to store it. Bonus: Hypoallergenic and Animal Cruelty Free.
City Color HD Powder – 4 gm ($5.99)
This Loose powder from City Color cosmetics claims to set your foundation to a smooth, matte finish for shine free air brushed look. It’s translucent hence, suitable to all skin tones. Well, will surely put this HD powder to test if it actually lasts up to its claims.
Jersey Shore Sun Mongongo (Vanilla Coconut) – 4. 25 gm ($10)
Ok i love lip balms, irrespective of the weather, more so if they are hydrating, smells amazing and keep the lips luscious. It contains Mongongo oil which hydrates, regenerates and is rich in anti-oxidants.
Bonus: 100% Organic (don’t we all just love organic products), Paraben-free, Petrochemical-free. 100% Cruelty-free.
EVA NYC Freshen Up Dry Shampoo – 21.3 gm ($7.50)Come summer, and it starts piling-on hair products. Every box that i got this month contained a hair product. Most dry shampoos don’t last longer as after a few times, they usually start giving white residue. So will have to see how this one works- could be a hit or miss!!!
Claims to absorb excess oil, add instant volume, leaving no white residue or odor.
FNP Review: July Ipsy bag contained goods worth over $60, which is good. Though I liked the products – (lipstick, eye shadow and lip balm), I can’t say that I totally loved them.
Curious me went on to check out the Ipsy site, and found out products that i would have loved in my Ipsy bag like Tarte Bronzer, Avene Cleanser & Essie Nail Paint. No, not jealous but come one, Ipsy could have added at least one of them. So i’ll review them on their site in order for them to make me a better bag next time.
FNP Verdict: But was the bag worth 10$ for me? Yes, definitely worth the money!!! Had some good products if not great.
FNP Rating: 3.5/5
